I’m excited to announce that my 2017 book, Disaster Capitalism: Making A Killing Out Of Catastrophe, has just been released in an Arabic translation, now available across the Arab world. This will guarantee its message, how individuals and corporations are increasingly making profit from misery, will reach a huge global audience.
43,000 physical copies of the book have been published and it’s sold at only US$1, allowing more people to access the work. I’ve already had a number of people in the Middle East tell me that they’re appreciating the book.
The publisher is the Kuwait-based Alam Al-Marifah, a monthly book series that publishes and translates non- fiction books at The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters.
When my first book, My Israel Question, was released in 2012 Arabic translation, it helped spread its message beyond the relatively narrow English-speaking world.
